CORAZÓN ATREVIDO 2009

CORAZÓN is the Camino de Vida most important annual conference. This is prepared to give tools to the local church equipping it for his spiritual and ministerial growth, of scope and impact. As Ps. Robert says: “Let’s show the world, a church that shows what One Church can be”.
There will be able to be many churches, but the truth is that we are alone one - with different strategies. “Now yes, we are different, but this makes us special. This shouldn't divide us, but bring us closer together. It is in that diversity that the body of the church is beautiful. We should guard our hearts, not seeking out that which divides us, but the things that unite us. We are Christians”.
Corazon is focused not in the vision of our church but in the Couse of Christ. “The Church is one people united with one cause: change lives and bless the world we live in… I see a church, One Church, made up of many faces with different callings and personalities, brought together for Him - by Him”.

Maria Durso
Years of loneliness, abuse, drugs and hidden pain could have left her hopeless and alone...yet God kept and preserved Maria Durso’s life; and having known their pain, she gently ministers to those whose hurt lies deep in the heart.
Marvelously witty, Maria is a brilliant and insightful speaker and a magnificent complement to her husband, Senior Pastor Michael Durso’s ministry. Together they have ministered since 1985 at Christ Tabernacle, the first church to be birthed from Brooklyn Tabernacle. Here they’ve witnessed firsthand the faithfulness and grace of God to supply the needs of a growing urban church.
Believing that our greatest ministry is prayer, she heads the Prayer Band, a group that intercedes daily for the needs of the congregation, various ministries, and requests that are phoned in to the church. Maria also oversees the Women’s Ministry at Christ Tabernacle, a ministry that encourages women through fellowship, worship and the Word of God.
God continues to open doors for her to minister in conferences, retreats, and seminars.
